Seven basic plots

The Call

Darrow is forced to join the Sons of Ares a group of people that want to free the red folk. They show Darrow the world on the surface of Mars the tell him he can free the reds, but for that he needs to become an imperator on the space fleet of the gold. For this he needs to become a Gold himself, this has never been done before but he succeeds. The journey to free the Reds is ready to start.

The Journey

To become an Imperator he needs to win the Institute, what this means nobody that didn't finish it knows. After he learnt all the things he needs to know about being a gold. He has his test to enter the Institute. He passes the test and goes to the Institute. Here he is chosen in to a house, he needs to lead this house to victory over eleven other houses. After he takes the lead in his own house he takes over another two. Cassius his best friend and first general in his army then betrays him and leaves him for death. This is where he mets Mustang, the leader of one of the houses he captured as the leader of his house.  With her he starts an army of deserters, gold that were captured as a slave but ran away. With them he almost beats the game until the supervisors tell him he can't win because Nero au Augustus paid to let his son the Jackal win the game.    Darrow then kills one of the supervisors with a suprise attack. With the equipment he stole he beats all the supervisors

After winning the Institute Darrow has a long way go go but this will be covered in the next two books in this serie.
