Setting

The Hunger Games take place in the future. We don`t have a exact year. But we do have the history of the past. Why The Hunger Games were created. This is the only time line we get. According to what happened to the world it must be at least the year 2100. Because after everything changed to the way the word works there has past at least 75-80 years. The hunger games Katniss takes place in is the 74th hunger games. Before the hungergames there was a rising by district 13. If it is 75 or 80 years depends on how long this rising was.

The first setting is in district 12. This is where we get to meet Katniss and where she has lived her whole life. This is a poor area. Most people don`t have enough money. District 12 is fenced up so nobody can leave. But there is a hole in the fence Katniss escapes on a daily basis. She hunt for extra money and food. We don`t really know get to know allot about this area more about the people who live here.

The second setting is the capital where she gets to travel to. Everything is expensive and new to her. It litteraly is the opisit of where she udes to live. big expensive and everything is extra.

The third settig is the arena. Every year the arena changes and this year it is a forrest. The arena is computer made so everything in the arena can be changed by the push of a button.
